Book review – Helpless

 Title   Helpless
Author  Rosie lewis

This is a true story of a young foster carer whose called upon to look after a new born addicted to drugs. It is interesting to see how the family bonds with the new born and the work that the foster carer does to help the baby while it is going through the trauma of drugs withdrawal. As we follow this lady from the emergency at the hospital through to the fostering of the baby by another couple  It gives a very insightful and reflective read, this is not the first book I have read by Rosie Lewis and wont be the last. This is foster family gold!

I can recommend It to those readers interested in reading true life stories.
